Carbon 12 is delighted to participate in the 2019 edition of Dallas Art Fair with a group presentation, which includes a strong lineup of the gallery artists, bringing together works by Bernhard Buhmann, Amba Sayal-Bennett, André Butzer, Gil Heitor Cortesão, Philip Mueller and Sara Rahbar.
For this edition, Carbon 12 will be exhibiting sculpture as well as drawings by Amba Sayal-Bennett. The selection comprises a focus on Bernhard Buhmann's new works; alongside a work of Philip Mueller, coinciding with Mueller’s solo show at Salsali Private Museum. The sculpture by Sara Rahbar is the representation of the compelling oeuvre that engages with social and political issues, blurring the lines between the personal, the political, and individual and collective experiences of power, control and vulnerability and lastly the protracted oil painting on plexiglas by Gil Heitor Cortesão.
