Anthony Olubunmi Akinbola | Artist Residency

AIR @ CAMPO | Pueblo Garzon, Uruguay

A chance for creatives to immerse themselves in the nature, culture, cooking and community of Pueblo Garzon, CAMPO AIR offers creatives from around the globe, including visual artists, chefs, musicians, writers, photographers, and filmmakers, the unique opportunity of time and space in a tiny village and Uruguay’s quiet countryside to focus on personal projects, while connecting with each other and the community.

CAMPO AIR offers one-month residencies three times a year for up to eight artists. They are provided with room, board, studio space, a travel stipend and dinner five nights a week shared together at CAMPO Canteen. During their stay, CAMPO's residents are encouraged to imaginatively interact with the local community by co-producing projects, offering lectures or teaching classes, providing a vibrant exchange of creativity and culture in an otherwise remote community.
