Fließgleichgewicht, PURPLE PATH Art and Sculpture Trail | European Capital of Culture 2025 , Chemnitz, Germany
Near the seminar garden on the Zschopau river, "Fließgleichgewicht" is an object reminiscent of an oversized motorbike mirror - a reference to the motorbike tradition of the town of Zschopau. With his object, Munich-born sculptor Michael Sailstorfer thematises the reflection of time and surroundings.

The PURPLE PATH art and sculpture trail is the most extensive project in the Capital of Culture region. It connects the 38 participating municipalities with each other and with the city of Chemnitz. By 2025, a unique exhibition of contemporary art in public spaces will be created with works by national and international artists.
