Since 1974, the state of Vorarlberg has been purchasing contemporary art every year to expand and supplement the state's own collection. For the ninth time in a row, the art purchases can be seen promptly and publicly in the Remise art space in an exhibition cooperation between allerArt Bludenz, the Vorarlberg Museum and the Vorarlberg State Department of Culture.
In the third and final year of the 2022 to 2024 purchasing period, the buyers Andrea Fink and Isabella Marte were able to acquire works by 21 artists and two artist duos. The new additions to the collection purchased in 2024 include objects, sculptures and installations, photo and mirror works as well as paintings and will be presented in two consecutive exhibitions curated by Luka Berchtold.
