The works of Anahita Razmi (DE, 1981) revolve around cultural transfers and translocations. Her videos, installations and performances are using appropriation and manipulation to enable new perspectives on common global image, media and trade logics. The meanings of existing images, artefacts and thus identities are put into question by situating them into changing temporal or geographical contexts.
